-A Short Speech

It is truly said that - "Parenting is the biggest sacrifice one can make, it's putting one's life on hold to fulfill the promises of your child's tomorrow". Parents are the entire universe for a child. We owe our parents our life, everything that we have become today and everything that we will become in the future. They deserve the biggest share in our success. It is impossible to completely repay the debts that we owe to them, although parents don't do anything for their child with the expectation of getting something back from him or her, as children, it is our duty to take care of them always and devote ourselves to their service.

The first sacrifice for us is from our mother. She sacrifices her pain. She contains us for about 275 days and she willingly and happily bears our pain. Parents are an example of most unselfish love in the world. They bother to make money, not for themselves but to provide a decent living to their child. They give up many necessities for the children. Parents protect their children from dangers, attend their cries and reassured them after a bad dream.

A child realizes the sacrifice made for him out of love by his parents when he himself becomes a parent one day.

Thus, our parents are above God in our lives and we should make sure that we do our best to make them happy as it is said - "The most beautiful thing in the world is to see our parents smiling and realizing that we are the cause behind that smile".
